Cinnamon Poached Apples

4 apples
1tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Method
- Wash and chopped the apples, removing the core.
- Placed the chopped apples in a pan and pour appox. 2cm of boiling water, the water should not quite cover the apples.
- Cover the lid and simmer for 7-10min on a low-to-medium heat until the apples are soft.
- Add the spices a minute before you switch off the heat.
- Serve hot or cold with flaked almonds and/or natural yogurt.
