Cinnamon Poached Apples


4 apples

1tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg


  1. Wash and chopped the apples, removing the core.
  2. Placed the chopped apples in a pan and pour appox. 2cm of boiling water, the water should not quite cover the apples.
  3. Cover the lid and simmer for 7-10min on a low-to-medium heat until the apples are soft.
  4. Add the spices a minute before you switch off the heat.
  5. Serve hot or cold with flaked almonds and/or natural yogurt.
