Cashew Oatmeal & Berries


Banana & Chia Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 100g (1 cup) oatmeal

  • 50ml cashew nut milk

  • 1tbsp ground flaxseeds

  • 1tbsp hemp seeds

  • 1tsp almond butter

  • 1/2 large banana

  • 1/2 handful frozen buckthorn berries (or any berries)

  • 1tsp maple syrup (optional)

Method

  • Pour boiling water (from a kettle) into oatmeal and cook for 3-4 min, when the porridge is almost cooked add cashew nut milk (or any other milk) and cook for another minute.
  • Once the porridge is cooked, add 1tbsp of ground flaxseeds and mix well.
  • Chop banana on top, add almond butter, hemp seeds, and frozen berries.
  • Add some maple syrup if you prefer.
