Pasta with Cavolo Nero Pesto

  • 1 bunch of cavolo nero

  • 100ml olive oil

  • 150g pine nuts

  • ½ lemon

  • Pinch of salt


  • Wash and roughly chop cavolo nero, removing stalks. You can roughly tear leaves off as well.
  • Add chopped cavolo nero, pine nuts, olive oil, a pinch of salt and lemon juice in a kitchen processor and mix!
  • Cook pasta of your choice and mix with pesto.  Top up with mozzarella or nutritional yeast.
